Hello! My name is Sean Strong
I am currently a PhD student at Cardiff University reading in Ancient History. My PhD research is a comparative study of Roman, Sasanian, and Avar leadership depictions within Theophylact Simocatta’s History.
My research interests vary throughout the Late Antique and Byzantine world, and span across the fields of military, political, and social history. At the same time, I enjoy reading about anything related to the Ancient and Medieval worlds.
